•Requests from clubs for assistance with funding
•Research into how other associations and clubs are currently fundraising
•Engaged with a number of clubs and leagues through internal contacts/committees
•Contacted sponsors to build prize fund
Concept
•FAI organises the draw, the prizes, the printing etc.
•Clubs purchase tickets for between €1 – 2 (depending on volume) – then sell for €10 each
–This is a minimal admin. fee to cover costs
•Orders of 100+ tickets will have club name printed on tickets
•Clubs sell tickets for €10 each
•Clubs get a turnkey, high profile/value fundraising vehicle
•No financial risk to clubs
–No min. or max. purchase required
All Proceeds Go To Clubs
•Country is split into four regions to ensure prizes are spread as evenly as possible:
–Dublin
–Rest of Leinster
–Munster
–Ulster and Connaught
•Some National prizes, some Regional prizes, some Club prizes
