All…..We have some great news emerging from Galway following the participation of our underage team playing in the Macron Cup for the 1st time.
On Wednesday our lads played Finn Harps and drew 2-2 followed by a 1-1 draw with Salthill Devon. Today our team beat Regional Utd 1-0 to attain a place in the semi-final of the competition. We play Mervue Utd tomorrow in the semi-final and on Saturday it will hopefully be the final. If we don’t make the final we still play Saturday for 3rd/4th runners up placing. It has been a great achievement already to get to the semi-final having played such illustrious opponents in these games. Well done to all the players, to our managers Tony O’Sullivan and Declan Holihan and the CCFL backroom team of Eamonn Brady and Tony Hurley for their great efforts to date.
