Please find a note below with  regard to the Football for All (FFA) and the Visually Impaired Football from the Offaly Sports Partnership. If your club would like any further information please contact the Committee or contct the Offaly Sports Partnership as per details below.

The FFA programme is co-ordinated by Oisin Jordan (FAI) oisin.jordan@fai.ie or 0866079223.

Over the past two summers we ran a FFA programme in Birr Town FC with the assistance of some of their coaches however this has not be sustained. I would love to see this progressed by getting a willing club registered with FAI FFA and delivering weekly sessions.

This process has just begun in Derry Rovers (Edenderry) so you can contact them to find out more about this. I think they train on Sunday mornings and have between 25-30 kids participating regularly. If you are aware of any clubs who may be interested, or want to find out more, please let me know.

In relation to the Visually Impaired sessions, we have been running these 1 Saturday per month in Moate for under 16s. Again we would love if this could be connected to a club when the children would have more regular opportunities to participate. Unfortunately at the moment there are no VI football teams for children in the Republic of Ireland but it would be great if we could set up a Midlands team and organise exhibition games.

If you can help in any way I would really appreciate it.

Please do not hesitate to get in contact on the details below or 0876846695.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,
