Dear Secretary / Colleagues,
It is with great sadness that we must announce the untimely death of our colleague Sean ‘Ski’ Lowry (Offaly Branch ISRS). As a player, as a coach and most recently as a great referee in our league, Sean was one of life’s gentlemen. He was always helpful, always friendly and it was always a positive experience when being with him. Sean will be missed by all of us in the football community but most of all by his family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them today. Sean, may you rest in peace.
A minutes silence will be observed at any CCFL games played this weekend as a mark of respect.
Funeral arrangements as follows: Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr, on Saturday from 5pm – 8pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Sunday morning at 11.15am to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, at 11.45am for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
