Expressions of interest are now being sought for clubs who may me interested in entering teams into a CCFL women’s tournament based on a small sided game. The objective is to try and encourage women’s team who do not intend to play in the CCFL women’s league this season to play in a small sided game with a view to forming full teams for future league entry.
The format, venues, dates and times will be decided depending on interest. The league would like to run the tournament based on a 7 or 9 a side game and games would be played over various weekends during the current season.
