As communicated before Christmas, the Football Association of Ireland is delighted to announce a significant enhancement to the FAI Connect system. From March 2025, the new self-registration functionality will go live, allowing all new registrations to be self-registered moving forward.
To ensure a smooth transition to this updated system, we will be hosting roadshows and providing a suite of resources, including self-help videos, tutorials, and updated user guides, to assist all users in navigating these changes effectively.
The FAI Connect team has scheduled a series of regional workshops for clubs and leagues, commencing on February 10th. While we are unable to visit every area, the locations have been carefully planned in collaboration with Regional Managers to maximize accessibility.
Below, you will find the links to register for workshops across the Country. Please share this with clubs and leagues in your Region.
Attendance at these workshops is beneficial to understand the new processes and workflow, however do not worry if you cannot attend the nearest workshop to you. As previously mentioned, we will have How to guides and Step-by-step video tutorials which will be added to our support page in the near future.
These workshops will also help us build our FAQs in relation to the new self-registration process.
These workshops are Aimed towards CLUB MANAGERS who are currently responsible for Registrations of Players/Coaches/Staff at clubs to understand how to setup Self-Registration within your club.
