Mullingar Athletic kept within touching distance of leaders Willow Park with an impressive 6-1 victory over Mountmellick in Gainstown. Willow Park stayed ahead of the pack thanks to a solitary goal from Aidan Hyland to record a 1-0 win over Monksland United. Clara Town recorded their first victory of the season with a 2-1 win at home to Birr. Killavilla and Edenderry played out a 2-2 draw in the final Senior Division match.
Willow Park B won their fifth successive match with a three nil win of Mullingar Town. Second place Gallen Utd left it late to gain a point at home to Shinrone, Noel Buckley scored with two minutes remaining to add to Kieran Conroys’ earlier strike to make sure Gallens unbeaten start to the season continued. Derry Rovers took three points in a 2-0 home win over Clonaslee, Derrys goals coming from Michael Cleary and an own goal. Melville United picked themselves up after three defeats by winning 1 at home to Mullingar Athletic B. CK United put five past Rosenallis, including a hatrick from Mark Dunne final score 5-1.
Tullamore and Abbeyleix Athletic are setting the pace in Division 1. Trailing 2-0 at half time to Temple Villa, Tullamore showed great character to stage a second half come back. A 35 yard strike from Stephen Duffy started the fight back. Trevor Francis got the second then, with ten minutes remaining Stephen Keogh raced through on goal to hand all three points to Tullamore. Abbeyleix won 3-1 at home to Clonbonny, Niall Wallace, David Brennan and Stephen Hawking (his fifth goal in three matches) all on target for Abbeyleix.. Noreside Celtic and St Peters had to share the points in a 1-1 draw, while Highfield are still without a point going down 2-0 at home to Ballinahown. James Galvin and Colin Harrington the scorers for Ballinahown. Stradbally Town got their second victory of the season with a 3-0 win at Clonmore.
Gracefield and Portlaoise share 1st place in Division 2. Lee Bryan, Tom Slevin and Owen Gleeson got the goals for Gracefield in a 3-1 victory over Gentex with Portlaosie recording a 3-0 win versus Ballybrittas. Steven Screeney got his second hatrick in as many games for Kilcormac , Trevor Screeney got the other in a 4-1 win against Coolraine. The prolific Pa Gorman got the goal for Coolraine. Moate Celtic won 3-2 at home to Birr and Walsh Island drew 2-2 with Dynamo Town.
In Division 3A Ballycumber picked up their first point of the season drawing 1-1 with Killavilla. A Mark Power double and a goal from Ger Bradley saw Rochfortbridge win 3-2 at home to St Aengus. Daingean Town sit top f the division after winning 2-1 in Arlington. David Jordan got the only goal of the game for Killeigh against Cloneygowan. Sean Roseny got both goals for Pullough in their 2-1 win against Edenderry.
Three of the five matches in Division 3B finished level. Ericssons and Gallen played out a 0-0 draw, Banghaer travelled to Clara and came away with a point after sharing eight goals. The top of the table clash between Raharney and Lawrencetown finished 1-1, Conor Ryan put in a terrific performace for Lawrencetown who had the free scoring David Nee to thank for their goal. League new boys BBFC are still without a point after losing 4-3 at home to Melville Celtic, Clonown are also without a point after they ost 4-1 at Riverside.

In 4A Raheen remain top despite having a free week, Marybrough joined them on nine points with a 3-0 win over Dynamo Town. Despite leading 2-1 with goals from Jody Davis and Gary Donoher with ten minutes to go, Mountmellick left CR Forrest empty handied losing out 3-2. Abbeyleix left Frankford with 3 points, a Dathi Brennan hatrick and a double from Mark Fitzgerald put them well out in front in a 5-1 win. Portloaise got their first win of the season 4-2 at home to Stradbally, while in the last match Emo Celtic ran out 3-1 winners at Rosenallis.
Division 4B again served up a feast of goals. St James won 5-2 at Clonmore, Conor Gath getting amongst the goals for St James with two superb strikes. An Ollie Dunne goal wasn’t enough for Derry Rovers against high flying Eastend Celtic, goals form James Carthy and Eddie Keenihan securing the points for Eastend. Clara Town won 5-2 at St Carthages and Raharney got three points at Eagles winning 2-0. Monksland United got the biggest win of the weekend, beating Kilcormac 6-0.
Boro Celtic
Grange Utd were 4-1 victors over Camlin Utd, Mostrim won by the same margin against Longford Wanderers. Henry Kenny got the only goal of the game for Boro Celtic versus Inny in a match spoiled by strong winds. Dynamo Rooskey and Ballymahon played out a 2-2 draw.
Melville Celtic had Chris Conlon on the score sheet again, but missed several chances incuding a penalty against Granard Celtic, Granard Celtic came away with all three points in a 3-2 win. Ballymahon won 5-0 at home to Carrickboy and Spartak Granard won by the same scoreline against Grange Utd.
