Congratulations to the CCFL Youths teams who have qualified for the quarter finals of the FAI Youths Interleague for the 2nd year running. On Saturday goals from Shane Fletcher and Luke Dignam helped the team to a 2-2 draw away against the Clare league. This, along with earlier victories against the Galway league and and against the Limerick District league ensured the Youths topped their group – the first time that this has been achieved by a CCFL Youths team. Well done to the players, to managers Tony O’Sullivan and Eamonn Brady, and to all the backroom team who have contributed to the teams success. We wish the team well in their quarter final tie and we will post news of that game as soon as the draw has been made.
