Umbro FAI Junior Cup

FAIJ

Dear Secretary,

Thank you for registering to take part in this year’s FAI Junior Cup. It’s your dedication that helps make this one of the biggest tournaments of its kind in Europe.

With the second round under way this weekend, I would like to tell you a little bit about some special innovations Aviva are introducing to the competition this year. “If you’re out, you’re in”.

With Aviva as sponsors of both the FAI Junior Cup and Irish Grassroots Football, Aviva want to reward all clubs involved, not just the ones who reach the latter stages. They will be giving the clubs who get knocked out the chance to win a helping hand on the “Road to the Aviva” next year.

Prizes will include special designed kits, and even the chance to have some football legends to visit your club. Clubs knocked out in Round 1 and 2 will be in with a chance to win an incredible training session with Rep. of Ireland and Everton legend Kevin Kilbane.

The session will be organised and run by a full FAI coaching team who will identify your teams strengths and weaknesses from the goalkeeper through to the striker, to help you on the “Road to the Aviva” next season. For those clubs still in the competition after Round 2 Aviva will support you with special promotions.

In Round 5 the competition enters the open round and clubs get the chance from the twenty six counties to meet head to head. That could mean a long road trip for your players and fans, to lend support to this venture Aviva will offer the team with the longest distance to travel the chance to travel in style on a luxury mini-coach.

Best of luck on the “Road to the Aviva” and Aviva look forward to hearing from you soon!

Dennis Cruise. Hon. Secretary  FAI Junior Council.
