CCFL U17 Interleague 2nd Trial
The CCFL will hold trials for registered players born in 1997 or 1998 in the AIT Athlone this coming Sunday April 6th, Players to be at the venue for 11.30am sharp. It is estimated that the trials will be finished by 2.00pm.
A Panel will be selected to represent the League in the Leinster Football Associations blitz which will be held on the weekend of the 26th April (Venue to be announced). This is another great opportunity for our leagues Players to play representative football at the highest level.
Players who attended the last Trial in the AIT and have being informed by their Club Secretary that they were successful should attend.
Players who were unable to attend should come this Sunday if they are interested in being considered for selection.
This Panel will form the basis of the squad for the Macron Cup in August plus next seasons FAI’s Youths Interleague Squad.
From the above blitz the LFA will select a squad to represent Leinster against Connacht, Munster and Ulster to be held later in the Year.
We would ask that Clubs encourage their best players to avail of this opportunity.
