Killeigh v Maryborough
The Killeigh welcomed Maryborough FC to the new Killeigh Schoolboys/girls Soccer development in Derrybeg this morning the 1st December . It being a perfect morning for the first game by a senior team on what will be Killeigh FC new home from here on. The Killeigh were absolutely thrilled coming away from the new pitch with a 6-2 win. All they’re hard work and training is paying off as they picked up another 3 points. The big note for the day is Rob O’Neill has gone into the record books as been the first senior to score in their new home. The senior men’s team would like to thank the Killeigh school boys / girls club for allowing them to join in what everyone hopes will be an exciting future in their new venture.

Women’s Division
Killeigh Ladies v Birr Ladies
Killeigh ladies had the pleasure to welcome Birr ladies to the new Killeigh Schoolboys/girls Soccer Development in Derrybeg. And recorded a home win of 7-0 The weather didn’t hold up it’s part as strong winds and heavy rain made the game hard for both teams.. but it did still make for an entertaining game, both teams having their fair share of possession. Birr tried their hardest to break through the killeigh defence but the backline held firm and kept a clean sheet. Thanks to Birr town for travelling over and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season
