The CCFL travel to the AUL complex in Dublin on Saturday for a crunch encounter against their hosts the Athletic Union League (AUL) who will be firm favourites to advance to the knockout stages of the FAI Youths Interleague competition following their impressive 3 – 1 victory over the NDSL, that said the CCFL will not be without hope following a battling performance against an accomplished DDSL squad.
CCFL Manager Eamonn Brady noted that a major concern in the run up to the game was the number of potentially serious injuries which have affected his squad’s preparations however following 2 recent challenge games against the Kildare and Carlow Leagues they have had a good chance to analyse the strengths of the whole squad.
The match will kick off at 2pm in and we would encourage people to support our Youths in their quest to qualify out of the so called group of Death.
