The Committee is delighted to announce the entry of the CCFL women’s Team in the inaugural Leinster Women’s Inter League Tournament. Preparations have already begun for this season’s competition and our team will play as per details listed below. In addition we are delighted to announce that the team will be managed by John O’Dea and his back room team of Trevor Thompson (Coach), Jason Morgan (Goal Keeping coach) and Eimear Fox (Physio). The Committee looks forward to supporting John, Trevor Jason, Eimear and all the players. More details will follow:

Match One: Leinster FL v North East WFL
Match Two: North East FL v Combined Counties FL
Match Three: Combined Counties v Leinster FL

Carlow and District League
Kildare and District League
Kilkenny and District League
Match One: Carlow v Kildare
Match Two: Kildare v Kilkenny
Match Three: Kilkenny v Carlow
Proposed Play By Dates
Match One: Played by October 20th
Match Two: Played by November 17th
Match Three: Played by December 8th
Semi Finals: January 26th
Final: February 16th
Onus on home team to contact away league to confirm mutually agreeable date, kick off time, colours, etc
In group games, match officials will be appointed by home league. LFA shall appoint officials for semi finals and final
Should both sides fail to agree a date/time, game will be fixed by LFA on play-by date at 1pm
Winner of each group shall have home venue in semi final
Final shall be played in a venue in one of the finalists area but shall be organised and selected by LFA
